Dynamic Online Channel Reseller Invoicing System:
Our client offers a unique online data backup solution. Integrating data back-up and internet access, our client offers packages designed to protect corporate data at a secure, off-site server storage location via the internet. These services are sold through a worldwide channel of third party resellers.
The client contacted Web Global Net after their original developer could not complete the inital phase of the application on time. Web Global Net stepped in and not only completed the project on time but recommended several major enhancements that streamline their workflow overall.
Client Specifications included:
- Web based application that provided their resellers with the ability to invoice their clients.
- Invoices to be based on storage spaced used on their servers and needed to be based on real time usage.
- Ability to create and view all types of reports based on client defined criteria
- Ability to manage all reseller/client specific data.
- Reseller channel to be able to create their own branded invoices and to download complete marketing material in a PDF file created on the fly.
- Professional graphically pleasing resller user interface.
- Complete historical overview of all the changes made on the database.

WGN created a custom online Dynamic Web based Invoicing Application with the following major functionalities & features:
- Developed database logic and Data Flow model
- Extract billing information from a complex database and create invoices
- Display of Invoices & Reports using a variety of user defined parameters
- PDF on the Fly creation of Invoices & Reports suitable for traditional printing
- Logo upload for each reseller
- Resellers can manage an unlimited number of customers
- XLS (Microsoft Excel) export of invoice data (allowsing resellers to import data into their existing billing system)
- Complete historical change log for all changes in the database (add, remove and update!)
