Google and most other search engines rely on site maps for indexing a site. A site map instructs the search engine robot where to go and what pages to index on your site. Contrary to popular believe you do have some control over a search engine robot.

Most sites do not use a site map or if they do, they do not employ the proper techniques required to help with their ranking.

Attached is a site map based on the Google XML requirements. It's actually quite simple to set up - just replace the links with your own and make sure it is located at the top level of your domain server.

There are other ways of helping your site with search engine techniques and this is just one of the simpler ones.
