Title: Embedding Flash Files
Post by: admin on April 27, 2007, 10:58: AM
Instead of just linking to a Flash file that open up a new window a better method is to embed the SWF file in the web page with the following HTML code.

<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,29,0" width="400" height="400" >
<param name="movie" value="videoplayer.swf">
<param name="quality" value="high" >
<param name="LOOP" value="false">
<embed src="videoplayer.swf" width="400" height="400" loop="false" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"></ embed >
</ object >

Note: For maximum browser compatibility this method uses two tags: <object> and <embed>.
